Information Session on New Opportunities for Businesses – Additional session added for District 3 hosted by Commissioner Udine –
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – As part of a collaboration with Commissioner Michael Udine (District 3), the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) has added a new session to its series of free Information Sessions, which began on June 21st, to help business owners and entrepreneurs learn about new opportunities to do business with Broward County government. The newly added session will be held on Monday, October 8th from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Northwest Regional Library located at 3151 N University Drive in Coral Springs. Discussion topics to include:
- How to tap into Broward County Government’s annual spend – averaging over $600M
- Updates on NEW total gross receipts cap for Construction Industry – increased to $9M
- Benefits of Personal Net Worth cap – increased to $1.32M
“Connecting our small business community with opportunities to help them grow is key to developing a strong local economy,” Commissioner Michael Udine stated. “The Office of Economic and Small Business Development has done a great job of educating small business owners and entrepreneurs on the ways they can work with Broward County. I encourage all to attend this free event to learn about opportunities to grow your business.”
